Description

Hipperson Construction is seeking a qualified candidate for the permanent position of Project Assistant. The Project Assistant position is vital to the high performance of our construction team and will appeal to an individual that seeks rewarding challenges.    

Primary Responsibility:
    Assist Project Managers and Estimators in the required documentation and correspondence required to accurately submit tender responses and  effectively manage construction projects

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
    Create, organize, and archive project files
    Prepare sub-contractor agreements, award letters and track document sign off
    Assemble construction material data and prepare project maintenance manuals
    Maintain maintenance, inventory, and training records
    Electronically upload project and tender documents
    Create professional documentation for internal and external use and distribution
    Receive incoming, and prepare outgoing mail and courier packages
    Ensure common areas are organized and kept organized
    Some office administrative duties including office reception, answering telephone, opening mail, order office supplies, faxing, shredding, photocopying and filing
Construction related experience or familiarity is a definite asset.
