Description

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services Branch is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and energetic individual to join our organization. The Health Services Integration Fund (HSIF) is a one year initiative that is aimed at supporting collaborative planning and multi-year projects that will meet the health needs of First Nations, Inuit and Metis. The primary focus is to provide support for integration of projects that are broader in scope. It involves collaboration of partners that provide health services to improve integration of federally funded services with those of the provinces/territories that is expected to lead to improved access to health services.  This is a full time contract position for 1 (one year), with a strong possibility of extension.

Job Duties:
-    Ensure detailed yearly work plans are completed.
-    Serve as Coordinator/Health Planner for integration by coordinating activities such as assessment activities, health planning, data collection and management, policy making with other health partners.
-    Maintain and establish existing and new linkages to partnering agencies and other Health Personnel.
-    Act as a liaison to parties (FN & other) interested in forming tri-partite and multi-party relationships.
-    Conduct presentations and updates to Lead Agency and Program Manger
-    Completion and approval of Framework for Health Adaptation & Integration Guide information.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in the area of health or social sciences and/or an equivalent combination of skills and experience;
- Experience in project coordination; Experience in preparation of work plans and budgets; Excellent interpersonal and team leader skills; Excellent written and oral skills; Possess computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel;
- ?Knowledge of First Nation health issues and policies; Research and analytical skills;
- ?Experience in developing briefing notes and position papers;
