Northern Lights School Division #113 has an opening for an Enterprise Active Directory Domain Administrator. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the individual will be a member of the Division's technology unit.

The position entails the design, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of server and storage systems, hardware, software and related computer equipment in coordination with the Network Administrator. The Server Administrator will monitor and optimize access to all hosted services internally and externally; set up and maintain server hardware and software; and ensure the security and integrity of Division data. The school division consists of one central office located in La Ronge, one sub-office located in Beauval and 19 schools in northern Saskatchewan thus extensive travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have a current, related technical certificate or degree from a certified school as well as a current valid driver?s license and a reliable vehicle. Advanced server skills required - not limited to Microsoft Server OS, 2003<, Linux, virtualization platforms, Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, deployment and patch management at a corporate level. Supervision and strategic planning experience would be considered an asset. Effective oral and written communications skills are essential, as the individual will be required to interact with and assist staff division-wide.
