Youth For Christ is a mission organization dedicated to helping children and their communities, worldwide, reach their full potential. Motivated by our faith, we serve the youth in Saskatchewan - regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender - as a demonstration of God's unconditional love for all people.
We are seeking a new team member who is passionate about youth, and looking to use their athletic focus to develop our sports outreach programs. This is a missionary position that requires the willingness to partake in fundraising responsibilities with us. As a missions organization, Regina Youth For Christ requires all staff to be in agreement with their Statement of Faith.
Description:
-Developing and overseeing programs that are relevant and effective
-Building healthy relationships with youth
-Developing youth into effective leaders
-Responsibility for fiscal sustainability
-Recruiting both participants and volunteers
-Building and maintaining healthy relationships with stakeholders
-Assisting with other Youth For Christ programs
-Fostering healthy ongoing relationships with churches and ministry partners
Skills desired:
-Strong people and communication skills
-A love and passion for sports
-A desire to see young people grow and succeed
-Experience working with youth and or youth programs
-Experience with overseeing programs, people, volunteers and or employees
-Basic administrative abilities
-An alignment with our spiritual values
Transportation/Travel Information
- Own transportation
