Brewsters is currently looking for a well-qualified candidate for the position of Executive Chef for Brewsters SK. This is the top kitchen management position in SK & requires a person with a great deal of experience & management skills.
Brewsters wants someone with creativity & passion to help produce innovative dishes & enhance the overall dining experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the culinary functions for Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant.
This successful candidate will report to the Regional Managers & Ownership Group. She/He will be responsible for hiring & training chefs, line cooks & overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations ensuring that Brewsters culinary standards are being met throughout.
She/He will play a key role in leading menu development & creation, cost & inventory controls, refining & maintaining training & operational standards as well as being responsible for the overall operations of three Regina kitchen locations.
Qualifications: Red Seal, Certified Chef de Cuisine designation or, Culinary Arts Diploma is required. No less than 5 years of progressive food service management experience. Other certifications, awards or experience an asset.
Financial management skills such as accounting & budget calculations. Must be computer literate & able to utilize Microsoft Office. This position will require travel between three Regina locations. Good communication & Leadership skills.
