NLSD #113 invites applications for the position of a continuing full-time Career Development Consultant

Northern Lights School Division #113 requires a continuing, full time Career Development Consultant to work with school division personnel in the following areas; Career Curricula, Transitions, Scholarships & Awards, Partnerships.

The successful candidate must have:
-          a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate
-          post-secondary credentials appropriate to the position
-          current knowledge of Saskatchewan Curriculum & Graduation Requirements
-          knowledge of educational planning and career pathways
-          a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license

The successful candidate will work with schools to support teachers in delivering career curricula; to support teachers in assisting students in the use of educational and career planning toward finding purposeful exit strategies; to engage partners (post-secondary, industry, business, etc.) in a meaningful manner to support strategies that provide engaging opportunities to extend instruction beyond the classroom.

Post Graduate Studies and the ability to speak Cree or Dene would be considered an asset.
