Description

The On Site Service and Safety Leader (OSSL) will work within the Automotive Fluid Services division to ensure a safe and healthy work environment while consistently exceeding customer expectations in all services provided by the division. The successful candidate will be relied upon to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the health and safety field that will allow them to advise and mentor employees on the unique challenges faced in our industry. The OSSL will develop an in depth working knowledge of all AFS equipment and scopes of work and is expected to play a key role in leading awareness of Envirotecs safety culture on site.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-1A Saskatchewan drivers license
-Clean drivers abstract
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Safety background and/or education
-Leadership experience
-Excellent communication skills

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-Train new employees on the operation of all   units within AFS, assess competencies and maintain training logs
-Regularly perform spot checks and participate in ride alongs with operators to audit quality assurance and compliance
-Promote and lead Envirotecs safety program on site including conducting safety meetings, last-minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments
-Provide coverage, as required, for operators who are absent
-Coach and mentor operators and engage in corrective discussions
-Lead the division to consistently exceed customer service expectations
-Identify opportunities for enhanced, expanded or new services to Envirotecs customers
