Light of the Prairies Society is a community based
organization that provides Residential and Day
Programming, in the City of Saskatoon. As a
Direct
Support Worker you will be part of a team that
provides care, recreation and community
opportunities to adults with cognitive needs. We
offer a great benefit package, family dental,

Life and Disability Insurance after 3 months of
probation.
Job Expectation:
Personal care, cleaning, supervision, planning and
implementing programming individualized for each
client. Potential employees would possess
creative
thinking, the ability to plan activities and
attend
community outings with clients.
Current Opportunities:
We currently have permanent full time opening in
one of our Group Homes. The hours of work are
shift work including days, evenings, and weekends.
A successful applicant will need:
Grade 12 or a GED
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's
license
(no probation)
A clear current criminal record check is
required.
CPR & 1st Aid prior to 3 months of
employment.
It is necessary that you read, write and
speak English.
