Southland Co-operative Ltd. has an opening in the lumber department for someone with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an outgoing and energetic personality. Working out of the Home Centre, you will provide customer service and information to customers and contractors looking for building material products in our Lumber Department. Ability to do small estimates and assist customers with problem solving issues will be required.
Lumber and hardware knowledge is an asset. In this customer service position you will be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends. Basic math skills are a requirement of this position as well as a willingness to further knowledge through training. The position requires you to be physically able to do heavy lifting.
