Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager, is responsible for the overall sales and merchandise maintenance of the assigned department. Maintains the department according to company merchandising standards and store operations policies. Maximizes sales of department merchandise and related products. Ensures that all merchandising and operational activities take place on a consistent basis. Makes recommendations to the Assistant Store Manager to improve and enhance company merchandise and operational policies and procedures. Provides and ensures quick, responsive, friendly customer service. No less than 95% of the working time is to be spent in the assigned department.
