Description

Her 4 Directions is a collaboration of four emerging fashion related businesses owned and operated by dynamic aboriginal women. The TheTwoTwenty and Her 4 Directions partnership will serve as a fashion and business development incubator providing information, workshops, encouragement and guidance to women in the community of Saskatoon wanting to learn more about how to get into business as well as skills development in this unique trade industry.

The Project Coordinator is a half time position that coordinates work-shops, meetings between Her 4 Directions members, and will be responsible for setting up the organization of the collaboration.

Duties:
-Schedule and organize monthly workshops and coordinate facilitators.
-Follows detailed work plan and deliverables.
-Reports outcomes and data collection on a quarterly basis.
-Advertisements for events and recruits participants.
-Engaging actively in the community of Saskatoon.
-Assists in providing direction for administrative assistant.
-Assists with filing accounting related documents.
-Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Grade 12 education.
-Successful completion of a recognized two-year post secondary business related program.
-Two years' related office experience.
-Knowledge and understanding of Project Management, and Not-for-profit Reporting requirements.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Her4Directions Partnership staff and business owners.
-Skill in the operation of a computer with Microsoft Office, Excel and database software.
