Job Description

Responsible for project accounting deliverables as outlined by function, contract/client and Construction Project Delivery System
Perform project gross margin analysis and identify potential gross margin opportunities.
Challenge the financial and commercial performance of the project during monthly reviews with project management.
Maintain Accounting Key Performance Indicators for the project. Analyze the results and work with Business Management, Project Controls and Project Management to achieve performance targets.
Understand and comply with AECOM policies and procedures
Assist in the Client, Internal and External Audits and Operations reliability attests
Ensure all contractual obligations for project accounting are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Work with client diligently and closely to address any issues.
Works closely with Project Controls, Project Management and Supply chain management to ensure that client requirements for billings are complied with.
Provide leadership and mentoring to the project accounting team
Provide day-to-day guidance to the team for problem solving.
Manage the distribution of the tasks among team members

Job Requirements

Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related discipline
Professional Designation CA, CMA or CGA  preferred
Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in accounting with increasing levels of responsibility
Supervision of small-medium sized teams
Understanding of GAAP and Construction Accounting
