Description

The Saskatchewan Horse Federation is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to the SHF office.  

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible as directed for general office duties including, processing of insurance sanctions, daily mail processing, membership renewals, Corporate Club renewals, raffle administration and minute taking.  Any other general office duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Director or Office Manager: Preparation and/or editing of documents; maintenance of office filing system and administrative duties including responding to public/member inquiries both in person and over the telephone; provide backup to other staff in the SHF Office; Accuracy and confidentiality in all that you do is a must in this role.

As the successful candidate, you must have demonstrated ability to use a wide variety of computer applications and the knowledge and skill related to office and administrative procedures and protocols, including the ability to interact with colleagues and challenging clients with diplomacy and integrity.
Required Competencies:
    Ability to problem solve and build consensus when working as a team.
    Proficient and adaptable with various software applications and a personal computer (experience with Microsoft applications is an asset)
    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    Ability to multi task and manage several projects at one time.
    Previous administration experience/knowledge is an asset.
    Must have a Valid Drivers License.
