Prairie Plant Systems, a leader in plant based technologies, is seeking a self-driven individual to join our team. As the Company continues to grow, the individual will be responsible for purchasing all consumables, equipment, tools, parts, and services necessary for the operation of the business.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure that all items that have been requested have an approved Purchased Order.
Ensure timely delivery of all products purchased.
Responsible for identifying new suppliers and sourcing products.
Responsible for all products returns and warranties.
Work closely with management with respect to budgets, quotes, etc.
Qualifications
Supply Chain Management Diploma or equivalent educational background.
Minimum of 2 years purchasing work experience preferred.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must possess strong customer service skills
Salary will be based on skill levels and education. PPS offers a comprehensive benefits package. Incumbents will be required to pass a Government of Canada Security Check, a criminal record check, a pre-employment drug test, and must hold Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status.
