Description

Stony Rapids is a fly-in community located on the banks of the Fond du Lac River in northern Saskatchewan.  This K-9 school has an enrolment of approximately 66 students, a professional staff complement of 6, para-professional support and a half time secretary.  It has a library, large Industrial Arts lab, large gymnasium and Home Economics facilities.  

This is a full-time, continuing teaching position to start August 26, 2015.   The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching, have courses required to be a non-categorical resource teacher in Saskatchewan and have classes in administering individual standardized achievement tests and in writing personal program plans.  The position may include some teaching responsibilities to be negotiated with successful candidate.

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance.  Moving assistance may also be available.
