Sofina Foods has a lucrative career opportunity for a Packaging Supervisor to join their processing facility in Wynyard, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, you will lead all department activities to ensure all operational plans, requirements and standards are met on a daily basis.
Key accountabilities of this day-shift role include:
- Product grading for size and quality;
- Effective utilization of human resources;
- Maximize product yields
- Ensuring a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors;
- Ensuring current policy and procedures are implemented and followed; and
- Providing assistance and act as a backup to scheduling for Production Supervisor, as required.
To qualify for this role, you will have relevant experience working in poultry processing, packaging, or in a similar environment. Previous experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
