Val Marie Community Daycare is seeking full time and/or part time early childhood educators. To maintain and ensure a safe healthy learning environment for children ages 6mo-12yrs; prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks following Canada's Food Guide; supervise children's learning experience with age appropriate materials provided by the centre.
Essential Skills

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
