OTV Technologies has an immediate opportunity for an Accountant. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day to day keeping of all financials. Maintain an adequate system of accounting records and enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results. Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner

Process payroll in a timely manner

Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed

Maintain the chart of accounts

Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

Maintain an adequate system of internal controls

Complete monthly and annual financial statements

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management

Prepare and analyze month end reports and provide recommendations

Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal tax and payroll regulatory filing requirements.

Candidate Qualifications:

Accounting designation (or near completion of) (i.e. CPA) with 2 to 5 years of experience

Proficiency + Familiarity with accounting software

Experience with preparation of payroll

Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

Strong time management and organizational skills
