Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Essential Energy Services, is currently looking for all classes of Pumping Operators.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Drive and maintain specialized pumping equipment
Blend or prepare chemicals for various job procedures
Operate assigned equipment during treatment
Perform pre- and post-job inspections on pumping equipment and take responsibility for operations during the delivery of services
Recognize equipment malfunctions and correct as necessary
Perform general preventative maintenance on all pumping and various other equipment.
Maintain equipment to above industry standards
Job Requirements:
Previous oilfield experience required
Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, GODI, and PST certification would be an asset
Valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with good driving record required
Able to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment and drug screen
Able to work out of town
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
- Standard First Aid Certificate
- Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
- General Oilfield Driver Improvement
Additional Skills
- Write daily basic progress reports
- Train and supervise floorhands, assistants and helpers
Work Setting
- Drilling and well service contractor
