Thunder Ridge Farms Partnership, a large, modern grain farm in Northern Saskatchewan, is looking for 3 Farm Supervisors to perform the following duties: Supervise the work of farm workers and ensure that they do their jobs safely and properly; May develop work schedule of workers; Ensure that farm machinery and equipment are in good running condition and act immediately on reported machinery malfunction; Receive instructions from manager and ensure that they are followed; Report daily to manager about the accomplished work, problems in the farm, concerns of and about workers, and give recommendations; Perform general farm duties.
Requirements: Basic farm knowledge with modern machinery; Minimum 1 year experience supervising farm workers; English language proficiency is mandatory; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Mechanically-inclined; Physically fit and self-starter; Can work independently with minimal supervision, and a team-player; When necessary, willing to work long hours; Has to live in Leask; Valid driver's license is mandatory (with clean driver's abstract); Class 1A driver's license is an asset.
The job is full-time and permanent at $23/hour, average of 40 hours/week. Accommodation can be arranged. Start immediately.
