Description

PARTNERS Family Services is currently seeking an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR who shares the agencys vision and exhibits innovative leadership that values partnerships and collaboration.

PARTNERS Family Services is a nonprofit charitable organization located in the City of Humboldt. We serve the city and surrounding communities within a 100km radius. We believe in building healthy families and communities to prevent interpersonal violence and abuse.

Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for providing high-level, strategic leadership as well as the day to day management of a skilled team.   The Executive Director also provides community leadership and support with other like minded agencies in our rural area. The Executive Director also maintains a keen understanding of client needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Demonstrated experience working with a volunteer Board of Directors.
    Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit organizations and social services in a rural setting.
    Demonstrated experience in community development and the implementation and evaluation of programs and services.
    Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with the government and other external agencies.
    Demonstrated experience in research and proposal writing.
    Superior written and oral communication skills.
    Demonstrated experience in budgeting and strategically aligning resources with the goals and objectives of the organization.  
    Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate staff.
    Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and be able and willing to travel with personal vehicle.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree with preference given to candidates with a Bachelor of Social Work degree.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the non-profit sector, preferably as a leader or manager in a non-profit agency.
