Description

Basic Purpose
Has overall responsibility for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities at the construction site and works closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the project is completed on time, safely, on budget, and according to specifications.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Competencies
*Provides input on labour productivity and manpower requirements
*Ensures that all safety procedures are communicated and followed on site
*Manages site activities to ensure that design, budget, and schedules are met
*Monitors the quality of work being done. *Performs site orientations
*Coordinates and facilitates on-site contractor meetings
*Provides the Project Manager with regular reports on site activities
*On completion, participates in the walk through

Qualifications
*Journeyman ticket & extensive experience in relevant trade is required
*Experience in equipment installation.
*Must possess all required Safety Tickets/training minimally including a current First Aid Certificate, fall arrest, confined space, WHIMIS, CSTS
*Must possess CSO Certification, or achieve same within the first 6  12 months in this position
