About the Opportunity

Pinehouse Business North (PBN) is a northern Saskatchewan Aboriginal owned and operated company specializing in civil earthworks construction and environmental waste management for the mining industry. PBN is hiring a full time PROJECT MANAGER to join our team in Saskatoon, Sk.  

In the Project Manager role you will plan, manage, lead, execute, and finalize construction projects within scope, schedule and budget.

More specifically, you will:
Develop and manage project bids, estimates and budgets;
Develop project work plans and modify as projects progress;
Work closely with PBNs Operations Supervisor to identify and manage resources (labour, equipment and material) needed to complete projects;
Actively track project expenses while minimizing risk;
Ensure that construction activities are completed safely;
Regularly liaise and communicate with project stakeholders, for completing all phases of projects;
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and high quality workmanship;
Conduct inspection of construction sites as per project needs; and
Ensure all project documents are completed and filed accordingly.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need the following:
Sound knowledge of engineering, design, construction and management  principles acquired through successful completion of projects;
Registered as a Certified Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineer;
A minimum of 5 years industry experience;
A strong commitment to capacity building and knowledge transfer to PBN employees is considered an asset;
