Job Summary:
Performs responsible manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance and operation of cutters, folders, and stitchers. Responsible to operate equipment in the bindery department in accordance with company quality and efficiency standards to meet or exceed our customers expectations. When operating the equipment that requires helpers, the journeyman is responsible to supervise the helpers to ensure a quality product and that packaging is according to the customers wishes.
Job Requirements:
*Journeyman / Apprentice Bindery 1 thorough understanding of bindery equipment operation. Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. Requires good math skills. Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work station. Demonstrates positive safety attitude. Good communications skills required to instruct and direct bindery helpers. Customer focus. Team player.
