Well established company in the cattle and farming industry is looking for the services of a self-motivated Farm Assistant to work in their close knit team in Outlook Saskatchewan.
This is a Full Time position and a great opportunity for someone interested in grain farming and cattle handling. The work site is located just outside of Outlook Sask, and only 40 minutes from Saskatoon.
Grain Farming duties include running and maintaining 12 pivots throughout the summer, working fields in spring and fall and coordinating spring crop spraying.
Cattle Handling duties include feeding, bedding and health care of bred cows throughout the winter.
General duties include maintaining and servicing of farm equipment and upkeep and maintenance of all buildings and handling facilities.
We require someone who is mechanically inclined. Experience with welding and basic computer skills an asset. On the job training will be provided for irrigation, cattle feeding and health care, etc.
The position includes a competitive compensation package and on site accommodations in a newer 3 bedroom home with all the amenities.
