Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Health, Safety & Security at our Esterhazy K1, SK location. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction for the Esterhazy location, as it pursues the Relentless Pursuit of an Injury free Workplace. They will partner with General Managers, their leadership teams, and other key stakeholders in building and sustaining a culture of safety at the site that becomes the model for the rest of the business unit.

What will you be working on?
* Motivate, lead and collaborate with health and safety professionals at the site, as well as other operational personal to drive operational excellence across the location. Direct integration and refinement of the EHS Management System to reduce risk and increase operational effectiveness.
* Lead and support select Potash Business Unit initiatives to leverage Esterhazys success across the Potash Business Unit.

What is required for this role?
* Bachelor of Science degree required preferred majoring in Safety or a related field.
* Safety Professional Certification or P. Eng strongly preferred.
* At least 15 years environmental, health and safety experience in heavy industry .
* Technical applied knowledge in the areas of industrial hygiene, emergency response, adult education, loss control, compliance auditing, contractor management and occupational health and safety is required.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety best practices and legal requirements. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior Provincial Agency management.
