The Heath, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator is responsible for working collaboratively with all stakeholders on the design and implementation of safety initiatives and procedures.
The Safety Department will ensure all managers and employees comply with the OH&S regulations, and the Association safety policies and procedures. The HSE Coordinator will engage all managers and employees in the creation of a healthy and safe working environment.
Other Duties:
* Accountability for company audits/inspections and the development and maintenance of all related programs and documentation
* Lead and participate in safety meetings, audits, hazard assessments and site inspections
* Manage and report all WCB claims; develop and manage RTW programs
Education & Experience:
* Occupational Health and Safety Certificate; or
* Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation;
* Strong knowledge of current OH&S regulations and policies.
* Team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.
