David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Bookkeeper based outside of Saskatoon.
This role requires a self-driven individual with excellent accounting skills, who is highly organized with strong attention to detail.
The Role:
Strong knowledge of Simply Accounting software;
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Daily Bank Reconciliations;
Experience with Remittances and Financial Statements;
Payroll for hourly and salaried employees;
Entering and reconciling employee expenses;
Strong Excel skills required to upkeep various spreadsheets.
The Ideal Candidate:
Cheerful, friendly and organized;
Willing to work within the team to ensure the success of the company;
College Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping/Accounting;
Accounting and payroll experience;
Experience with administration of Group Benefits would be an asset;
Skilled in MS Office, particularly intermediate level skills in MS Excel;
Should be detail oriented;
Able to commute outside of Saskatoon for the role.
