Description

Surgical Centres Inc, a world-class leader in the provision of community-based surgical services in Western Canada, is seeking a Director of Surgical Services to oversee their Saskatchewan facilities (Regina and Saskatoon). As Director of Surgical Services, you will have big say in strategically running the facilities and supervising a team of professionals and you will also play a large role in working with our regional health partners to make sure the centres run efficiently and are aligned with the health regions' needs. Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include participating in strategic planning; identifying budget requirements (human, material and capital resources) to safely meet patient needs and management of expenditures;  Human Resource activities including establishing and maintaining standards of practice; building collaborative relationships with staff, employees and physicians, hiring of personnel and managing performance of professional and support staff, and creating and sustaining a healthy work environment including the handling of Occupational Health and Safety issues;  and maintaining collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders.

Education:

Graduate of a recognized nursing education program with eligibility for licensure in Saskatchewan.

Requirements:
-  2-5 year's experience in a perioperative setting (OR or PACU)
-  Demonstrated management experience an asset
