Description

Our client, a health services provider, has a great opportunity in their new Regina location.  You will be an important ambassador for the company as it serves its clients with healing and therapeutic services.

Providing reception and admin support in this busy medical office, you will:
- Greet walk-in visitors and direct incoming/outgoing patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide patients with their initial paper work to complete.
- Respond to telephone inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle payment transactions.
- Listen and provide new patients with accurate directions and information regarding the clinics hours, services and offerings.
- Follow the protocols of the firm regarding confidentiality of patient information.
- Set up certain treatment areas.    

Education & Experience:
- Office Education Certificate, Medical Assistant and/or Customer Service training is an asset.
- Related customer service and receptionist experience, preferably within a medical or related field.

Computer:
- Some knowledge of Outlook; familiar with Word
- Able to learn new software/programs quickly

Personality/Desired attributes:
- Outgoing, understanding and respectful.  Compassionate, able to handle pressure when it arises and smile through it.  Ability to deal with people from all walks of life.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a calm, professional demeanor during busy times.
- The ability to prioritize and display strong organizational skills.
- Clear, legible handwriting is required.
- A professional, friendly nature and genuine commitment to work as a team to support patient needs.

Hours:  Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Position starts in August.
