Description

Salary:  $112,000 to $135,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Comprehensive Benefit Package, including vision, supplemental health, dental, out of country, life insurance and an annual $300.00 Health Spending Account.  Employees can make voluntary RRSP contributions and Canada Savings Bonds are available.
Pension:  Employee contributes 2% and the employer contributes 7%.  Their benefits carrier offers two new accounts, you can open a TFSA or NREG account.
Relocation:  Relocation is provided
Shifts: Monday to Friday  40 hours per week
Education:
    Must have a valid 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate
Experience:
    Minimum 3 years of experience as Chief Power Engineer in a plant requiring a 2nd Class power engineer
Skills and Abilities:
    Solid knowledge and understanding of Saskatchewan OH&S Regulations and the Boiler & Pressure Vessel Act & Regulations
    Must have supervisory experience
    Excellent work ethic with proven positive work performance
    Strong computer skills
    Will consider other combination of experience, education and skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
    Maintain the required boiler certifications through inspections, testing and direct communication with provincial boiler inspectors
    Actively develop the employee skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate and maintain the Activated Carbon Plant to produce a quality product
    Provide direction to Activated Carbon Plant operations personnel
    Provide training and evaluation of 3rd Class Power Engineer personnel
    Conduct regular inspections
    Other duties as required

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Stationary Engineer 2nd Class
 - Stationary Engineering Trade Certification
 - Power Engineering Trade Certification
