The replenishment associate will work an early morning shift to align with the truck/shipment schedule 6am-3pm. They ensure that the products our customers want are on the shelves. It is a physical job, requiring both individual and teamwork with respective departments.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Fill merchandise on floor and in storage according to established practices and policies (Primary fill and Secondary fill)
-Computer knowledge
-Keep stock and storage areas clean, faced and orderly
-Maintain stock rotation
-Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products according to established procedures (ie: pool chemicals)
-Maintain a professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)
-Follow department policies
-Participate in meetings and all training, as required
-Complete other tasks, as required
MAJOR REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES
-Ability to provide professional customer service and employee support
-Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
-Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility for outcomes
-Organizational ability and attention to detail
-Punctual
-Effective written and oral communication skills (ie: walkie talkies)
-Basic math skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (refers to an 8-hour shift with standard breaks)
-Able to lift 25 kilos or 50 lbs unassisted and carry as required
-Able to be constantly moving for a period of 8 hours
-Able to bend/reach for a period of 8 hours
-Able to twist, turn, reach and work above shoulder level
-Able to go up and down a ladder while carrying merchandise
