The Position: We are seeking a full-time Office Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for reception and will assist in various administrative and customer service tasks and projects.
The Ideal Candidate: An outgoing, career-oriented and mature individual that is looking for a long-term position with a well-established company. It is critical that the candidate be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlooks Email, Task and Calendar aspects including previous office environment experience being essential. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to be self-motivated and work independently, and comfort in making decisions are all important traits to possess for this position. The successful candidate will be professional, proactive and well-organized to provide for the efficient execution of processes and responsibilities and have a strong attention to detail. A certificate or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute in business administration or a similar clerical program would be an asset.
Job Description: Some of the following duties required in this position include, but are not limited to: answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and polite manner on a multi-line phone system, preparing, organizing, and distributing daily mail, typing and distributing various documents, maintaining the print station and office filing system, and assisting the Property Management Team in various other tasks that may arise daily.
