Perform lifeguard duties according to the National Lifeguard (NL) standards as part of the regular rotation as needed
Provide leadership to all staff in the areas of worker safety and enforce all safe job practices and procedures
Evaluate lifeguard techniques & program quality, record results, and give feedback as delegated by the Water Park Manager and Aquatic Coordinator
Offer coaching, training and mentorship opportunities to employees
Perform all Charge Hand duties as required, including taking leadership during shift for all customer service, shift coverage, and other supervisor duties
Ensure lesson plans are completed, results recorded, and submitted to the Aquatic Coordinator
Instruct life saving, water safety lessons and courses, as well as fitness programs as assigned by the Aquatic Coordinator and Water Park Manager
Deliver Advanced Leadership courses as scheduled
Complete incident/accident reports for submission to the Water Park Manager.
