David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Operations Manager based in Saskatoon, assuming responsibilities for the Commercial Construction Business Unit.

The Role:

This role will require you to have working knowledge of Project Management / Estimating within the Industrial-Commercial and multi-family construction industry, along with previous experience as a Project Manager. You will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, an adaptable personality and organizational skills that allow you to manage multiple projects. Your entrepreneurial nature and drive for success will be integral to the continued growth and development of the company. As the Operations Manager for the commercial arm of this business, you will be committed to leading and developing this thriving and growing business. You will work to the highest quality industry standards while working closely with the project management team to ensure the overall successful operation of the business.

The Ideal Candidate:

A Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture or Business, or relevant experience in a senior operations position within the construction industry is considered an asset.
5 plus years in the construction industry.
Construction management, design build and general contracting experience in the commercial, retail, institutional and/or industrial sectors.
Project management experience is a requirement.
Demonstrated capabilities in supervising, training and mentoring staff.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to provide collaborative leadership throughout all business activities.
