Right now, we're looking for great people for the following position: Warehouse Manager - Saskatoon, SK  


Shift: Full Time 37.5 per week
(Additional hours & flexibility required )

Job Description:

- Manage and supervise daily activities of warehouse sort operations
- Manage a group of unionized employees
- Responsible for hiring, training and managing performance of employees as per operational standards and indices
- Create a positive work environment, building employee loyalty, and a team atmosphere
- Responsible for achieving objectives as outlined in the operational scorecard
- Improvement of operational standards through reviews of employee performance, coaching, counseling and recognition
- Responsible for communicating and implementing policies, procedures or programs.
- Responsible for completing a variety of reports and documentation of unit's daily operations
- All other related duties

Qualifications:

- College education or equivalent
- In addition to your previous supervisory and lead-hand experience, you possess a minimum of 2 to 5 years management experience in which you coached, trained and supervised others preferably in a unionized warehouse environment
- Energetic leader and ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
