Responsibilities:
The CEO reports to the Board of Directors. The incumbent is responsible for implementation of policies set by the Board of Directors as well as annual goals and objectives, and the financial, program and administrative management of the organization. Guidance and direction is provided by the Directors of the Board.
Requirements:
Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Senior leadership experience in a business organization
Experience with developing sponsor partners.
Extensive experience within the voluntary sector and knowledge of its current opportunities and challenges
Financial management and fundraising experience
Experience in working with a wide variety of groups, including all levels of government and the community, private sector, media, and voluntary organizations.
Demonstrated experience and ability to develop financially sound business plans, establish budgets and manage financial assets and resources within budget parameters.
Demonstrated experience in the management of an organizations responsibilities as they relate to both legal compliance with all policies and legislation.
