The Wascana Country Club is seeking a full time Banquet and Events Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to perform all duties within the banqueting area of the club at an exceptional level. The qualified person will have three to five years hospitality management experience and be willing to work as a hands-on person in all areas of the banquet facility as necessary. This manager will help minimize the cost of operating events while maximizing revenue; evenings and weekends will be required work times. This detailed oriented person will be able to schedule, train, and recruit staff as well as being proficient in creating banquet event orders. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sales and labour forecasting and be responsible for monthly department reports. The salary will be industry leading for the proper applicant.
