Description

We currently have an opportunity in our Quality Control Department for a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who would be a positive addition to our dedicated staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Auditing for product quality specifications, including temperature monitoring
Auditing and monitoring of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPS)
Auditing, verifying and assisting in the compliance of all HACCP programs
Auditing hog receiving and animal welfare when required
Providing timely feedback to the Quality Control Supervisor on all issues identified in audits
Keeping daily documentation of all audit results, identified non-compliances and appropriate corrective actions and preventative measures

Technical Requirements:
HACCP & Food Safety training
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office

Non-Technical Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, efficient use of time, committed to deadlines
Must be highly fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Must be willing to give information to individuals and groups as required to share HACCP, GMP, food safety information on regular occasions and at new hire orientations.
