Responsibilities
Show suites to prospects and potential residents.
Ensure rental applications are complete and set-up in Yardi.
Create and maintain resident and unit records. Complete credit, reference and employment checks.
Administer all move in procedure.
Assist with conducting suite inspections upon resident move out and move in and determining resident damage and estimating the cost of repairs/cleaning required. Coordinate all moves.
Enforce the rules and regulations of the property.
Maintain excellent resident relations, receive and document resident complaints.
Qualifications
Experience - Minimum one year of related leasing and administrative experience with experience in residential property management, combined with a strong service ethic commitment.
Familiarity with residential tenancy law in Saskatchewan.
Relationship Skills Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written with owners, residents and team members; ability to exercise confidentiality.
Organizational/Multi-Task Skills Ability to allocate ones time effectively and manage tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
Computer Skills Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Yardi an asset; minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
Availability Flexibility in hours to ensure availability for last day of each month and the first two to three days of the beginning of the month in order to accommodate the move-in-move-outs, trades and rent collection. Hours typically start 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday, Friday 8:30 to 5:00 p.m., and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays.
Knowledge A good understanding of all applicable laws, legislation, and rights concerning resident / landlord relations
Police Clearance A criminal verification check is required for employment
