Description

Main responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining, upgrading, configuring and administering a variety of enterprise systems including (but not limited to) Firewall and Routers, Active Directory, Email Server, SQL Servers, Network Security Appliances, Backup Systems, Network Virtualization.

- Leading and completing work packages and/or projects and providing technical administrative support to the project, including project documentation, tracking, reporting and maintaining project processes and follow-up with relevant stakeholders if required

- Providing third level technical support for network infrastructure (including on-call support)

- Providing input for on-going process.

- Being responsible for making changes to internetworking and telecommunications infrastructure in collaboration with the IS Manager.

- Proactively identifying problem areas for the team both technically and procedurally and recommend improvements.

- Preparing and maintaining network engineering documents and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Two year technical certificate in LAN administration or equivalent, A+ certification and MCSE or MCSA certification as well as five years experience in a server/networking environment.
- Expert proficiency in MS Server 2012, MS Exchange 2013, MS SQL 2012, Barracuda Security Appliances, Metalogix Email Archive, Evault Backup and VMware ESXi is required.
- CCNA certification and experience working with the AVAYA phone system would be an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent knowledge of microcomputers, networking, PC operating systems and Windows is necessary as well as experience with wiring schemes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Clear Criminal Records Check is required.
