JOB SUMMARY
Application Developer is responsible for requirements analysis, design & development, unit testing, performing design & code reviews, & technical documentation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the development & review of business & system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of business needs  
Design application solutions
Produce technical documentation      
Troubleshoot application production issues                  
Provide updates on work in progress, work completed & issues
Perform systems analysis & functional testing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years experience developing business applications on the Microsoft .NET Platform
Minimum 5 years experience deploying business systems
Minimum 5 years experience using Visual Source Safe, SVN, and StarTeam as a version control tool
Minimum 5 years experience in code testing methods and tools
Experience working within VB.net, MS Visual Studio 2005, MS SQL Server 2000, Report Viewer
Ability to create technical documents including functional specifications, operational documentation, release plans, release notes & architecture documents
Demonstrated experience with Quality Assurance methods & processes
Demonstrated technical & troubleshooting skills
Experience developing & leading release plans & processes
Demonstrated experience managing systems development, estimating, planning & scheduling project activities
Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience working with all levels within an organization
