Reporting to the General Manager and other project team members, you will be adept at leading and managing multiple projects. You are an Engineer that is registered or able to register with APEGS and has mechanical design experience that would be beneficial in equipment design. You will be responsible for long term projects, and will help to minimize cost and performance risks. The Senior Mining Equipment Engineer will provide the required liaising, the documentation and everyday management of projects, while ensuring that all projects are risk managed, budgeted effectively and delivered in a timely manner.
At least five years experience in the Manufacturing industry, with mining experience as a preferred background
Experience in vendor sourcing and management
Knowledge of industry standards
High level of competence in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or other project management software
Ability to manage high revenue projects of up to 12 months duration, with multiple suppliers
Computer and Technology Knowledge
- 2D/3D Animation
- CAD software (computer assisted software)
