David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Communications Coordinator in Regina.
The Role:
Work with all staff to follow proper company branding procedures
Review all submitted, internal and external, communication materials to ensure messages are consistent to the company brand
Monitor and evaluate communications strategies
Write and distribute marketing and communication materials, including materials, such as: Annual Reports, videos, banners, program flyers, brochures, advertisements, training materials, and recognition items
Maintain and design all print materials, including; brochures, parent information, e-letters, business cards, other promotional items
Maintain and track the website impact, as well as work with the webmaster to implement recommendations for improvements
Assist in maintaining and updating the company database of clients
Assist with planning of company events, including invite lists, speakers, and public awareness
Develop and maintain media relationships including building media monitoring and reporting, writing and distributing press releases, fact sheets, and key messages
Review program policies and procedures on an annual basis and make budget recommendations regarding the communications budget for the company
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in Communications or Public Relations
Proficient skills with Adobe
Proven skills and experience with website and content management
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and well organized
Strong, creative writer with grammatical excellence
Positive attitude and professional image
Able to clearly articulate your message in written and verbal communications
Comfort with speaking to the public
