Prince Albert Grand Council is now accepting applications for a "Sterile Processing Instrument Technician" to work part time in PAGC Health & Social Development Unit.

Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, the Sterile Processing Instrument Technician performs duties related to the decontaminating, inspecting, testing, assembling, packaging, wrapping, sterilizing and distribution of medical devices to be re-processed.

Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12.
Successful completion of a recognized Medical Device Reprocessing Course.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of surgical and medical terminology
Ability to communicate and deal effectively with others
Ability to operate related equipment
Organizational Skills
Knowledge of Sterilization protocols
