Base Upholstery Builder
We are currently accepting resumes for current and Production Vacancies. Opportunities are available in Mattress Building and Base department. These positions are very physical positions in which you will be required to lift, bend & stand for extended periods of time. On the job training is provided and cross training is required in order to meet production demand cycles. Both men & women are encouraged to apply.
Mattress Builder & Base Builder
These positions are responsible for assembling product properly per order specifications, meeting production goals/schedules for the day and ensuring the highest level of quality. You will be working with power and hand tools to make various components of the final product. Any prior building experience in a mattress manufacturing setting is a plus.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in mattress building or similar manufacturing environment an asset
-Physically fit & able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
-Able to lift, bend & stand for extended periods of time
-Communication skills including the ability to read, write & speak English
-Able to work with power & hand tools
-Good eye-hand coordination
-Able to take direction and perform tasks within specified time frames in a fast paced environment
-Team Player
-Excellent attendance & punctuality
-Ability to work overtime as production demands require
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates based on experience and skill level
Extended Health Benefits upon completion of 6 months of employment (Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, Life Insurance, LTD, AD&D)
Hours of Work:
Monday Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Overtime required as production demands (afternoon/evenings and/or weekends)
