Nexans, a world leader in production of electrical power transmission and cable products has an immediate need for an experienced Electrician at our manufacturing facility in Weyburn, SK.
The requirements for this position include:
- A strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics and automated equipment with 3 years related experience or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- The candidate must meet the trade/educational requirements established by the Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission to work in Saskatchewan.
- The candidate must meet minimum English language requirements (written and oral) to meet established safety procedures.
The main duties of this position include:
- They will repair, install, maintain, and test all electrical related systems and controls in a unionized manufacturing setting. They will need to be proficient at locating and diagnosing electrical malfunctions as well as conducting preventative maintenance programs.

- A competitive starting wage of $36.58 per hour subject to adjustments as provided by the collective bargaining agreement along with opportunities for overtime and a minimum "call-out allowance" during off hours.
