New multidisciplinary rehabilitation and fitness facility seeks an Exercise Therapist for a permanent, full time position in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. This clinic will be housed in a newly renovated facility including a fully equipped gym, wheelchair accessible exam rooms and change rooms, office space, and staff lunch area. The focus of care will be on rehabilitation, conditioning, and general fitness of a wide range of clientele. Potential clients will include local athletes, chronic disease exercise management, and general conditioning and fitness for the people in the community and health service area. Registered professionals in the facility will include an Exercise Therapist, Physiotherapist, and Chiropractor. This clinic will be associated with a local, established registered massage therapy clinic.The successful candidate will be highly motivated and creative in developing a collaborative practice with the participating professionals. Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills will be necessary. Duties will include but not be limited to assessment and rehabilitation and/or training of clients, training clients in individual or group settings, creating group exercise classes that meet client needs, assisting with marketing of this new facility, ensuring a high standard of operation of this facility, maintaining equipment, and budget management. Strong corporate and administrative skills will be necessary.The successful candidate will have the following:
-a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Sciences, Exercise Physiology or related degree
- CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist
-Currant Standard First Aid and CPR Level C will be required before commencement of employment
