Description

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting for Turnaround Planners/Schedulers who are responsible for the development of detailed work plans, the generation of a comprehensive schedule for all Turnaround work within the plant, and updating the plan as the Turnaround progresses.  The Turnaround Planners/Schedulers will also provide functional direction to the Maintenance Co-ordinators/Turnaround Managers during the course of the Turnaround execution to ensure schedules are maintained and communication on priorities and status are relayed to the appropriate departments. We are looking for individuals who share our core principles of safety, equipment integrity, environmental stewardship and quality assurance.

Reporting to the Supervisor- Turnaround Planning, responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, developing the Turnaround plan and schedule through collaboration with various departments, developing a multidiscipline trade comprehensive work plan for each Turnaround activity, and continually adjusting scheduled work timelines to optimize manpower and resources. Other duties will include participating in special assignments such as PSM program development, Turnaround work flow development and improvement, and scheduling other small projects in the facility.

Qualifications include a Journeyman Certificate or Technical Diploma.  Other qualifications include a minimum of five years experience in an industrial planning/scheduling capacity or five years in the industry. Experience working with multi-disciplined trades in a work planning or co-ordination role, as well as experience using scheduling software would be considered an asset. Candidates must possess good leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
