Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent, the Mine Maintenance General Foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the mine mechanical department, to ensure the reliability of the mine production and service equipment in conjunction with operating staff, to meet production requirements.


The successful candidate must be a licensed Interprovincial Journeyperson or hold a technical diploma/degree in a mechanical discipline.  This position requires knowledge and experience of mine maintenance practices.  The candidate must possess superior interpersonal, administrative, communication, planning, organizing and computer skills.


The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
